Capture the good moments of your life by writing them in poetry. It's better than a snapshot.
The Common and The Cliché
Common gray squirrel with bushy, twitching tail
Creeps along the limb of the great oak tree
After stopping to stare at my shih-tzu and me –
We sit on the second floor balcony
Out over the street the squirrel ventures more
On narrowing branches, on groups of mere twigs
He leaps to another tree where the branches aren’t big
After watching intently, my dog flips her wig

Okay. Now you try!
